b) Do you think it is important to recycle? Give two reasons for your point of view. (4)
yes i do think that it is important to recycle becuase we are running out of natural resurces like coal and gas and recyclign willhelp us preserve what we have left. If we don't recycle then we aren't showing good stewardship and their will be no world left for future generations becuase we are destroying it.
Well done Claire! I would possibly give you 3 marks. Say 'secondly' for your second point. Do you really think 'there will be no world left'? What do you mean? The world won't disappear will it? If you are struggling to know what to say, make a religious argument and add a quote!
yes i do think that it is important to recycle becuase we are running out of natural resurces like coal and gas and recyclign willhelp us preserve what we have left. Secondly If we don't recycle then we aren't showing good stewardship and we are not looking after the enviroment as god wanted us to, as it is still his place. This is shown in the quote "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."
I thin that recycling is important, because our world will be running out o9f resources. Also we as human beings have been given the "Dominion over the fish, mammals and birds of the air." This quote shows us that we have been given the authority over them,m but with every right we have their is a responsibility which is to look after our resources for our future generations.
Secondly, we as human beings need to recycle because in future we will run out in future. This means that we won't have enough resources to share amongst everyone. God has said to us by the Bible "take care of my land. Don't leave it barron." This shows that we should be good stewards and look after our planet.
Where are the Bible quotations from? The first one is from the book of Genesis. The second one, I think you are referring to God's words through Jeremiah. According to Christians, Jeremiah relayed the words of God .. and said that God is angry about the abuse of the land.. God said 'You made my property disgusting'.
This is a very good answer! Try to give examples of ways that practically speaking we can look after the environment. Also give factual information about which resources we are running out of.... why don't you see if you can improve this answer a little bit.
I do believe it is important to recycle because there is too much waste in our world, by recycling we will be able to create new things without the need to use raw materials. Also, we need to look after the world because God once said 'Till the Earth and keep it'this means that God wants us to have the Earth ont he condition that we will care for it, God has shown his rage before in the past as described in this quote 'I brrought them into a fertile land to eat its fruit and its produce. They came and made my land unclean. They made my property disgusting' (Jeremiah 2:7)
