d) 'Religion is the best way to protect the environment.' In your answer you should refer to Christianity.
i) Do you agree? Give reasons for your opinion. (3)
ii) Give reasons why some people may disagree with you (3)
No i dont agree because the bible and the qu'ran were written many thousands of years ago when some issues that we have today like global warming and the decline of species like the polars bears weren't an issue thousands of years ago. therefore religions can't help us to stop damaging the enviroment.
However some pepole may disagree with me because religion can still be applyied today. God gave christians the earth to look after and be stewids of therefore he is teaching people how to look after the enviroment
Yes Claire, these are good answers. I would say that you really need to have some Bible or Qu'ran quotes in order to 'pad' out your answer more. You have made reference to religions in your answers though which is very good indeed. Why don't you put 'as an athiest... or as a liberal Christian... I do not feel that the religious literature is relevant to today's issues as it was written many thousands of years ago...' if that is what you think of course. This shows that you have thought about your own religious stance.... You might only end up with 4 out of 6 depending on how strict the examiner is.
